Gordon Beck, PhD

Dr. Beck has over 25 years’ experience of Business Development, Project Leadership and Drug Product R&D, in both small Biotech and large Pharma. Major projects include leading the divestment of Roche's RNA therapeutics business and the Tamiflu® licensing team in support of the Pandemic Preparedness Taskforce. His career began at Roche, serving as non-clinical project lead and coordinating Drug Safety, Pharmacokinetics, and CMC activities for an oncology project. He then served as Global Alliance Director for Roche, leading on scientific due diligence of multiple assets from preclinical to Phase III across multiple therapeutic areas. He then continued his career as Roche’s Executive Director of Global Business Development, leading a team responsible for licensing activities in Drug Delivery and RNA therapeutics. More recently, Dr. Beck has served on the New York University Venture Fund Biotech Review Board and is currently a SAGE advisor at Innosphere Ventures in Colorado.  

Dr. Beck is a Pharmacist by training and has a Ph.D. in Cell Biology, both from Aston University, U.K.
